"A rep from local Apple reseller, Power Mac Center, sent a note informing me that the new batch MacBook Pros has just arrived. These are the ones that have the Thunderbolt technology (10Gbps port speed, formerly referred to as Intel Light Peak).
The units are available in all Power Mac Center outlets. However, when I asked about the retail prices of the units, they turn out to be more expensive than the SRP of the Apple Online Store.

Was actually hoping the local stores would sell the laptops at a much lower price than the SRP provided by Apple. Not sure if this is the trend with Power Mac but the last time I bought a Macbook Air at iStudio, it was cheaper than Apple’s official prices."
